Massacre in Halabja
March 23rd, 2008Halabja massacre, March 16th 1988. More than 5000 innocence people were suffocated by poisoning gasses, chemical weapons.
Committed by Saddam Hussein, Halabja genocide is shared with all western countries who supported and supplied Saddam Hussein and his cruel regime at the time. This horrible event was the main trigger for making my first short animated film, “Fish on Soil”, also a graduation film back home in Kurdistan. I have uploaded some shots of the film and will post more later.
